Tracey Dewey

Parent Governor at Ludwell Primary School

I have been on the governing body since November 2013. I have twins who are thriving at the school and wanted to become actively involved in supporting the amazing work of our passionate and caring staff. The role affords me an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of the school. In addition to sitting on the full governing body, I sit on the curriculum and staffing committee.

I am passionate in supporting the school to meet the goals the strive for, benefiting the staff, children and parents.

Inspired by he hard work of the staff and having had the opportunity to become a bank teaching assistant within the school, I gave up my role within the NHS in the summer to become a full time student; studying to become a primary school teacher.

When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and girls and riding horses.
